The concept of Gravity Powered Air Derbies grew from a desire to encourage the learning of STEM (Science Technology Education and Math) principles. The air derbies are patterned after Pine Wood Derbies, but with bouncing rockets rather than wooden cars.

Adding Art to the mix; the acronym STEM becomes STEAM.

• The Art Wizard wins based on artistic impression.
• The Lucky Bounce Wizard wins based on total distance traveled.
• The Flight Wizard wins based on maximum flight distance achieved.

The prime objective of Gravity Wizards is to make it so Children Everywhere can say, “Elon Musk only launches one rocket 🚀 at a time … We Launch Four !!!!“
